Check out Gotham Ducati, NYC's first and only official Desmo Owners Club

Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli MotoGP

I'm incredibly lucky to be going to my third MotoGP event of the year, and my second in Italy!!

We sat in the Tribuna Ducati grandstand, a dedicated seating area for Ducatisti!

I even had a chance to photobomb the BT Sport MotoGP broadcast team with Gotham Ducati.
In April, I got the chance to go to Texas and literally saw Mark Marquez crash at turn 12 of Circuit of the Americas in Austin.
In June, I was lucky enough to go to Mugello to witness an epic shootout between Dovi, Marquez and Petrucci, with Petrux taking a career-gilding victory in the last corner.
And this is even more special!
I proposed to my long-time girlfriend in Paris earlier this week,
and then we flew to the Cote d'Azure, rented a car and drove up the French Riviera into Italy, and
all the way to Rimini just in time for race day at MotoGP.
It's kind of amazing how the universe aligns, as when I showed up, a whole bunch of friends were there... expected and unexpected.
My buddy Eugene back from NYC was there unbeknownst to me, sitting a few rows back
The Desmo Owners Club Presidents of SouthEast, France Nicholas and Salzburg, Austria Albin came over to say hello as well!
Nicholas even presented me with the Desmo Rosso Sud Est flag as a gift!
My buddy Franklin (who works at Ducati as a master tech) brought his daughter and we sat together.
In Europe, they call Ducati Island (the Ducati grandstand) "Tribuna Ducati."
My friend Anthony, who runs the club out of London was actually there with a KTM group,

lent me a a pair of paddock passes for Caitlin and I.

While we were back there, I ran into Colin Edwards, Michael Laverty and the whole BTSport team I had seen back in Austin.
In fact, if you go back and watch BTSport's official broadcast, you can actually see me meandering through the back of the frame for 30 seconds in between the Moto3 and Moto 2 races.
The day was hot and perfect,
and even though we had just arrived in Rimini last night....
(paying something like $30 for a very nice hotel btw)
we were instantly greeted by a sea of red.
