Late July at New York Safety Track

Las Vegas was fun, but I was itching to get back to the track. I'm also having my floors redone (for the second time in as many years, as it wasn't done right the first time), so I have no home to come back to. Guess I'll just go straight to the track!

So, my girlfriend picked me up in the morning at Newark airport from a redeye from Vegas, and we found a park (which turned out to be Liberty National Park), threw down a blanket like the (temporarily) homeless people we were, and took a nap till I had to drive to La Guardia a few hours later to drop her off for a flight for a work trip.
