I had been out really early this morning, riding all around White Plains and 22 up into Connecticut, first with a couple of friends, and then with a bunch of East Coast Ducs as well. But, I broke off early, as Moto Borgotaro had organized a couple of private collectors to do a classic 1970's Italian superbike bike show in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn in concert with Union Garage and Alpinestars.
I'm in love with classic Ducati motorcycles, and Moto Borgotaro has done some amazing events, like a Moto Guzzi and Ducati extravaganza several years ago.
One of the private collectors contributing to the event was Stuart Parr, whose installation "Art of the Italian Two Wheel" I had coordinated a bike night for a couple years back.
Unfortunately, I didn't see Stuart there, but I did meet up with several friends.1974 Ducati 750SS Paul Smart Imola Replica

The artist Martin Squires quietly sketched these beautiful bikes, as onlookers drooled over these sexy forty-year old machines.1979 Ducati 750S
