Desmo Silicon Valley Ride to Alices Restaurant to Big Basin Redwoods State Park

Patty just got a new job (woot!) and forbade me to rent another Ducati in California, so offered her Hyper to me for the day.
Her boyfriend Eric is an awesome rider, and he planned to show me some fo the local roads that day.
We got suited up and hit the road, aiming for the famed Alice's restaurant for lunch.
Alices is still a big biker gathering spot, 
and naturally I had to have the Ducati breakfast.  
Erik rode his beastly Multistrada, and boy did we rip a little bit.  

We took route 35 to route 9, then Bonny Doon road out to the ocean, then back inland to Big Basin Redwoods State Park. 
We stopped for a photo op near some massive redwoods,
running into a tour group of British police officers on a Harley Davidson tour for the day. 
The roads Eric showed me were second to none; the road thru the park was scary and technical and serene and amazing.
And the redwoods themselves were magnificent.
To cap it off, after Patty got home from work we went out for Korean BBQ.
