East Coast Ducs First Ride of 2016


Barely 50 degrees and the East Coast Ducati Riders are ready to ride.  Although it was still February, Jason was itching to ride out on his shiny, new black 1100Evo Monster, and Joe was eager to show everyone his brand new 1200 Multistrada.
 So we met up last Saturday at Columbus Circle, our usual launch point in New York City,
and planned to meet Richie up at Hudson Valley Motorcycles, who was going to take us up north.
 Unfortunately, I felt my clutch slip as soon as we got onto the West Side Highway, and by the time we stopped for gas up in Ossining, I had to turn around and limp back to NYC.  Fortunately, I kept it smooth on the throttle (not revving too much) and made it home back to the city without too much difficulty.
