Check out Gotham Ducati, NYC's first and only official Desmo Owners Club

Gotham at ProItalia in Glendale California

For reasons that haven't been resolved yet, I haven't posted about our ride to California to celebrate Jon's bachelor party.

Suffice to say that our bikes broke down and we would up at one of the best shops on the West Coast called ProItalia, specializing in Aprilia, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi and of course Ducati motorcycles
I had wound up with a wounded Ducati last year outside of Los Angeles at Ducati Westlake, which catered to the lifestyle crowd (being located in a Maserati dealership)
But the vibe at ProItalia was much more rider-focused, and you could tell the shop had specialized in Italian motorcycles for years.

We met the owner Bill Nation, who was incredibly supportive of our situation, and talked about running a shop right along Angeles Crest for the past 30 years.
We were stuck in Glendale for longer than we wished waiting on broken bike parts,
But there were some immaculate machines on display

I saw my very first V4.
Like this#329 of 400 1199 Superleggera.
The dealer is located just minutes from Route 2,
and the entrance to Angeles Crest Highway, likely one of the best motorcycling roads I've ever ridden.

ProItalia is also a reseller as well
with a bunch of old (and newer) cafe bikes
Royal Enfields and Moto Guzzis galore.
Pretty awesome to check out the shop in LA
and see visions of palm trees an mountains in our rearview mirror.
